The story

You like Mr Johnson — he's your favourite teacher. But he's strict, and your homework keeps mysteriously vanishing moments before you hand it in. You're on your final, final warning: one more missing assignment and the consequences will be severe.

Your classmate Alice has been picking on you all term, and this time she's hidden your homework somewhere in the classroom. The twist? She's left you clues — for her, it's a game. For you, it's your entire school career.

Solve her puzzles, find your homework, and get it onto Mr Johnson's desk before the bell. Fail, and you'll find out exactly what "the worst detention ever" means.

How it plays

A trail of puzzles, riddles and hidden compartments scattered across the schoolroom — Alice's clues are clever, but they're not fair.

Co-operative: two heads are better than one against Alice's trail. Competitive: race each other to the homework — only one of you gets the credit for handing it in.

Feeling clever? The difficulty is adjustable. Tell us you want it easy and Alice hides the homework almost politely. Ask for a real challenge and she stops playing nice.
